We pushed out a new beta version for Android users only tonight since they had some fairly significant issues. We'll do another beta update next week with this stuff plus some more stuff for all platforms (including iOS and Steam).
FEATURES
- Added UI Padding setting so Android players with curved screens or notches can bring the UI in a bit from the edges of the screen.
- Analog sticks now change to indicate translation mode.
- Remapped on-screen analog controls in translation mode.
TWEAKS
- Analog sticks move by touch delta instead of jumping to touch.
- Anisotropic filtering setting is now enabled by default and hidden.
- Allow RECENTER button in flight scene to also work in map view when the view is panned away from the current target.
- Show Loading text on startup loading screen.
- Tweaked size of forward/backward buttons in full screen image viewer.
BUGS
- Fixed visual issues with craft and planets on Adreno 3xx GPUs.
- Fixed a bug where screenshots would occasionally turn out black.
- Fixed a bug where the player could delete their active game state which would cause the game to break.
- Fixed a bug where the shuttle's front landing gear were not extended on start.
- Fixed a bug where the analog stick roll input was ignored if the heading was locked.
- Fixed a bug where SimpleAirways front landing gear were not activated on start.
- Fixed a bug where the part icons were not showing up.
@AndrewGarrison i know you dont like setting release dates and this question probably gets asked alot, but do you know when there will be a public beta and possibly full release of sr2 for mobile? again sorry for asking this if you've already answered the same or similar question. thank you.
