Hello, SR2 devs! I have been playing the game since launch and the biggest thing I hate about the game is the menu screen and the build area.
Let's start off with the main menu screen. The biggest thing I hate about it is how weird it looks and how weird it is to get around. I don't understand why the build and play button are separate. You can easily combine them. I also hate how much detail it lacks. Just a couple of buttons a backdrop and a picture of the last used craft or the current one. I think that the menu could use a lot of work. Like maybe show your last build in a picture that animates like if you build a plane it is moving in the background of the menu. and if you build a rocket it will be orbiting a planet. And when you click play on KSP you know how you have multiple saves, well when you click play in SR2 it should be like that so you can have multiple saves and it is easier to get around.
The next thing that I think needs improvement is a mix of the main menu and build the menu. So you know in KSP when you open a save it brings you to that space center area, well I think there should be something like that in the game as well. This is where the build and play button can be mixed. Now it doesn't have to be exactly like KSP but it would help a lot to navigate and get stuff done quicker, so you don't have to go to the main menu to launch another rocket. This is probably the thing I want the most in the game as it will save so much time and be so much cooler to have.
The last thing that could be improved could add more character to the game. I think that the build screen could be improved. So if you do plan on adding a space center like the area I would recommend doing this as well. So in KSP, the assembly buildings have a backdrop of what it looks like inside and I think this game should do something similar to that. But other than that everything else is good! You guys are doing great!
