Like the title says, what do you think about weapons in SR2, do you think that they belong in SR2 or not.

Personally, I mind either way. On the "NO" side, I say that they don't belong becuase there isn't any real life space weapons. However, on the "YES" side, if they added them then I would be alright becuase it would add more variety of parts to the game, which is something everyone loves.

I mean we could have to make the classic detacher weapons of the old SimplePlanes, anyone remember those ol' days?

Why not just add turbolaser batteries like on VENATOR Class Star Destroyers? (Star Wars)

actually there are space weapons, in a way, in the form of orbital kinetic bombardment which is there you drop a tungsten rod from orbit to the ground to create tons of damage, however not official, nor used against other space vessels, it is a weapon, that doesnt fall under the Space treaty (a treaty that says you cant use certain weapons from space or other celestial bodies like the moon to launch things like nukes)

I remember back then, and how SR would use them to make rockets on his float Spitfire. Good times.
Idk if I want guns, I'm kinda thinking lasers and explosive stuff

For weapons, I wouldn’t think of guns or anything like that.

For a Space game, the type of weapons I’d like to see would be stuff like rockets, nukes, missiles, etc

So pretty much, yes, Weapons should definitely be in the game.
