I've downloaded several rockets and they go into my download folder. They don't show up on the game menu. Where are they suppose to go after download to become part of the game? I can't find an SR-2 folder anywhere in my documents or programs folders.

You need to download them in-game. Make sure you have the Steam Overlay enabled on your copy of SimpleRockets 2 by right clicking it in your Library and clicking 'Properties', from there you should see if the Overlay is enabled.
