Different editor modes depending on what you are building

I am loving the editor over the one in Simple Planes even in it's early stages. But it would be nice to have a "mode switch" or something similar when in the editor to make it easier to build a plane. (I know, planes aren't really the focus of SR2....) So it would basically switch from a vertical-focused building style to a horizontal-focused build. Basically when you have to rotate all parts 90 degrees every time you drop one it gets tedious, and sometimes the editor gets confused when it attempts to re-size something or when you attach things. This would also make it easier to build rovers, cars, etc... Just a thought!
