Problems Starting SR2

Has anyone had this problem today? I couldn't get SR2 to start. I kept getting a message suggesting that I had a corrupt file or that my exe was missing. When I checked the file folder, the exe wasn't there. I re-installed SR2 and it's working fine. I was building a rocket in SR2 last night and had a normal PC shutdown. I don't know what changed from last night.
