@Teague interesting. I’m learning French cause I’m Canadian but my teacher still says grade 8. It’s funny because she also says that “During French, we need to... embrace the French culture. Act as if we are in France.”

@RocketBuilder Yeah, there's lots of variety. In France you count down how many years you have left of school, so if you're in 10th grade you say that you're in seconde or 2ème.

As for the underage rule, the Terms say this:

Ah, that was me. Reading this post, it appears the ban was due to a misunderstanding. Your profile said you were in Grade Five - which in the United States' education system would mean you were 10-11, which would be too young to be on this site. But that's assuming you live in the U.S -- and it's become apparent you do not. I will speak to the other moderators about this.
