In SR2, been working on building a space station but in the midst of trying to dock my second part of the station realizing then that in translation mode for RCS the UP and DOWN feature doesn't seem to be working, though everything else is. I'm not able to cancel out the movement and I just keep circling around the docking station... Am I missing something?

Could you post and link to the craft?

Ended up deleting everything including any local files and just saved and uploaded my crafts... didn't seem to work. Good thing is that the Devs seem pretty responsive to my bug request so working it out with one of them. As I told the one Dev... I'll go nuts if this can't be fixed. Thanks for the help!

@J188 i have done it several time, you just have to copy the right folder and paste at the exact right place

@Anand sounds simple enough, though I am a little spooked that when I reinstall, im going to lose everything.

@J188 yes you can copy '' files '' from simplerockets2 game folder and after reinstalling game just paste it in simplerockets2's folder and overwite it

@Anand Ha! So frustrating... If say I was to uninstall then reinstall SR2 to attempt to fix it... is there any way to save the files of the rockets I've made so I don't lose progress?

@Anand Please do! I feel it was working at some point and then suddenly it's not. I'll definitely report it and standby in the meantime. I appreciate the help!

@J188 if you are doing everything right then it could be a bug.
    Try reporting ingame

@Anand Im using translation mode when doing all this. I am certain I've done everything right yet I'm still finding this to be such an issue since I can't eliminate every bit of relative velocity to the desired docking target.

Okay last thing, are you using translation mode during RCS or normal mode

@Anand I've made sure to align the blocks with respect to the pilot. Movement seems to be good and accounted for orientation with all other keys of movement (W,A,S,D) but not E & Q

@J188 then it may be because of command pod or command chip's pilot orientation because pilot's orientation decides the direction of pitch, yaw, Roll, etc of craft

@Anand and an additional note... it’s not just with my latest design. It’s with all craft that this doesn’t work. I tried with the satellite in the docking practise tutorial and that’s obviously set up correctly and it too doesn’t have the proper movement

@Anand yes I’m currently using the RCS nozzle instead of the multidirectional. Set up is a radial 4x block with a nozzle on 5 of the six sides, the open side being the side opposing the side connected. Even still, my lateral up/down movement that should be E and Q are not working

There are two types of RCS in game, Don't use multidirectional RCS use single directional RCS instead
