I'm glad you found a solution that works for you. Multiple command chips/pods is pretty clever.

@sflanker When Sujun told me about this yesterday, I did it by XML, but being able to do so in the building editor is even better (and it don't "look like we are cheating") ! It wasnt obvious to me that the input field was text-editable, thank you for proving me I was wrong, best tip of the month !

This is definitely possible. To turn your rotator on and off without using an activation group you can use the
set part [id] [Activated] to [1 or 0]
craft instruction. To control your rotator's position you can set a variable in Vizzy, and then link your rotators input to be that variable. To do this you select the rotator, go to the "Rotator Input" section of the Part Properties panel, select the text in the "Input" field and type "TheNameOfYourCommandPod.FlightProgram.VaraibleName". The Variable in question should store a numeric value between 1 and -1. This was announced here and I believe it is now in the latest stable release. -

I fear this is not possible at the moment...
please prove me Im wrong !
( I suppose you included "throttle, pitch, yaw" in the sliders )
It would be nice to have Vizzy be able to set rotators/hinges in a specific angle.
@sflanker But,I seems a bug...After changing to astronaut,It doesn't work.So I use command chip.FlightProgram.sth
