I use hinge rotators to elevate service structures for rockets, like the erector used on the Titan 2 rocket that launched the Gemini missions. I get that to work by making the mass of the service structure zero. I've been trying to make a launch system that will elevate a rocket plane such as the Pan AM shuttle seen in 2001 Space Odyssey. Problem I'm having is that the hinge rotator is not strong enough to hold my rocket plane in a horizontal position as it waits to be elevated for launch. (I can't make the mass of the shuttle zero.) I increase the size of the rotator to 500% but it is still too small and weak for the job. The XML doesn't allow me to make the rotator any bigger or stronger. Could we have a similar tool that has greater strength and size to elevate large structures?

How about using a piston connected to a free rotator.
It's much stronger, because the load transfers right to the piston. -

Yes same to me. It brought meconfusion but I found 2 solutions :
- 1, in the suggestion listing page, select "discussion" then select again "suggestions".
- 2, in the suggestion listing page, do your search and replaceFeedback?s=Open
withFeedback?s=New

@OldCoach - that has happened to me also, it just says "submitted", and never gets to the suggestion section - maybe @mod knows what we are missing?

@SmurfResearchX I didn't put this in the suggestion section because the last several suggestions I've posted, I haven't been able to find in that section. I do a suggestion and then I don't see it on the page.

all of the moving gizmos seem to break off of the parts they are attached to very easy - even with the size and stability modifier at the highest settings - a stronger version or settings would be great - is there a suggestion to upvote?
I suggest using a sideways electric motor. They are way stronger, but you might have some... stopping-in-the-right-place problems.
