DESPIN DEVICES.

Here are rockets that use it

>basically every sounding rocket

>any solid fuel rocket that uses spin stability to keep straight during launch

@PorkyClown3 why not? Andrew is spending so much time and effort into this game, so adding reaction wheels to capsules shouldn't take too long compared to other large features being added.

And yo-yo despin devices are only really useful on specific types of rockets.

I think Reaction wheels could be added. All they do is provide torque in order to rotate the ships orientation. No different than the gyro in SP. @Alienbeef0421

@PorkyClown3 @MrTaco Despin devices are used on cheap, one-use sounding rockets (check out a launch of the Terrier-Orion), and sophisticated stuff like RW won't be feasible

@NerdsGalore I'm saying they probably wont in first version

@PorkyClown3 wouldn't be too hard to implement. If one part has Reaction Hweels, why can't another part?

    Yeah @PorkyClown3
I wonder if the capsule will have a built in inline stabilizer.

What @MrTaco said. And RCW (Reaction Control wheels) would help too.

Won’t SAS (stability assist system) just use the gimbal from the engines to fix unwanted spinning? If not the engines then wings.
