I started coding for the first time last Sunday and made a silly 8bit game about two dogs with two levels. The first a little platformer type obstacle race the second a pvp shootout where the dogs use guns and shoot each other with tennis balls.
The problem is... I can’t stop thinking about it and I can’t get anything done all day.
Suggestions?
Me my brothers played that game so much. It’s downstairs right now and I could play it.

My dream game to make is a World War I game that is open world, and you can join any army you want. Along the way you would have storyline missions that would be centered around the major battles for the country you chose. The rest of the game would be your choice. You could go into towns and start fires, go to the enemy trenches and get shot up, stealth your way to a major leader and assassinate him, anything really.
But I have no idea how to do much of what I want to do. All I’ve done is code for one day. I’ve been to busy to do anymore coding since. The worst part is not being able to stop thinking about it. I can’t wait till I have free time. @Jacobdaniel

I started making a zombie fighting game.
I’ve thought of a making a simple platformer where you traverse through levels and once you get to the end you get in a rocket and it sends you to the next world. @NazyaMilitare
