Right, so, most people on this website I do not recognise, so most of you will not recognise me.
I play SimplePlanes, and I have the money to get SimpleRockets 2, the thing is, I'm not sure if I should buy it, or use my money. So, I basically want you to tell me what I'm getting for the price of the game. This'll probably influence how soon I get the game, ofc when I can will be the point I choose.
As always, I'm Strucker, and I'm just curious lol. I know next to nothing about this game.

Thanks for taking the time to link everything.

As for the mods, yeah, I have a laptop as well as a steam account.

@CPSU3417 I am aware, but I'm not talking about the Android version. Strucker is on PC.

    Hello Strucker :)
The game totally worth the price, and much more.
Today video games are really cheap, with Price/Hour in head.
I bought it twice - PC, android
Vizzy is an incredibly entertaining tool. On the other hand, the game is also enjoyable without Vizzy. It don't "need" Vizzy to be fun, it is bonus.
The procedural philosophy of the game is not new for you, SimplePlane player ! ( while not active, I bough it years ago and loved it. It just missed... SPACE ).
Devs aren't joking, the project is ambitious. They do a really good job and I thanks them.

    You'll say : KSP2 or SR2, I'll answer : both.
I'll bought KSP2 at the second it is available, yet it will ( I heard ) lack the procedural thing.
    Both will coexist.
SR2 doesnt have ( yet? ) career mode. Main culprit for some players, not at all for the others.
Being a SP player, it may be not a problem for you.
SR2 is the heaven for creativity, and also for replicas.
Also, voting system for future features - while a bit flowed, it influence the game, for sure.

The game still being in his youth, you could cut a piece of cake of glory by uploading nice things if you are so inclined.

I suggest you try a few hours with a buddy of you, if possible, so you won't feel bad if it don't suit you.
I hope not to mislead you in your choice because I'm biased by the love I put in this game.

I love it, you can do so much in it. (Basically all the things other people here have said and more)

Also it's 25% off on steam right now because of the summer sale.

It is true that the game is still in development and as such is a little rough around the edges. However I think it is well worth it because learning the physics of rocketry and spaceflight is really fascinating and challenging. Plus the amount of things you can create between the designer and Vizzy programs as incredible.

Welcome! Yes, I think SR2 is well worth buying. For $15 on Steam you get, among several other things:
    Custom planets and solar systems
    Mods
    Procedural rocket engines
    Procedural jet engines
    Procedural landing gear
A visual coding system called Vizzy
    Astronauts
And much more. A career mode is also planned for the future. If you want to see what they're working on and what they plan to do, check out the roadmap.

Thanks for being the only people to respond so far, I’ve been thinking a bit more since this post, and I’d honestly love to get it, ofc I’d be more active on SimplePlanes but that’s besides the point.

It's very detailed, it has astronauts, way better UI than SimplePlanes (personal opinion), you can also build planes here, pretty places etc.
