The wheels provided in the parts list have built in electric motors. Can these motors be turned off and allow the wheels to be passive, like if a trailer were being towed. I've been working on a movable service tower using the wheels. The wheels won't stop turning and are causing all kinds of problems.

You can turn them off. Link them to an AG (make sure it's off by default) and done

OK, I got what an AG is- activation group. I don't see any on-off default settings anywhere.
