I have built a rover. When I try to drive it the "roll" seems to keep over correcting when I steer. It turn back and forth constantly. I have tried adjusting just about everything I can think of and really need HELP! Thanks.

@TestRunner Forgot to mention, I love the cable bridge concept. Could come in use for my mars base.

@TestRunner THANKS! It works 100x better. I didn't think the balance would have that kind of effect on the steering. I must have just missed the traction thing. I will certainly keep an eye on the balance . Thanks a million. Much Appreciated.

@RikHar - thank you, same here - i think it happened with one of the last couple updates(maybe 2 months since i noticed it) - i was building a space shuttle that used the vizzy to align the roll for the rocket engine burns, but needed the heading locked for pitch and yaw - it was working perfect, then the update... the roll had a mind of its own😭 - and saw a difference on the other crafts, it has stumped me in a couple ways now - lol

@SmurfResearchX Glad to hear Its not just me. If I find a solution I will send you a message. I never had this issues on any vehicle until lately, last couple of weeks, and it just a handful of vehicles. some work perfectly other wobble. All my vehicles use the same basic settings so I'm very lost on this issue.

@sflanker Thanks for your help I will try adjusting the Prop and deriv in auto pilot. Much appreciated.

Yes - the autopilot roll(in rocket configuration) has overpowered any vizzy program i have tried, and no way to turn it off - or plane configuration doesnt use yaw - it causes trouble if there is a gyro in the build too - i hope there is a PID roll slider added to the rocket configuration...and a PID yaw slider added to the plane configuration - or some way to adjust the 2 missing inputs from the auto pilot configurations - it would give alot more control to the crafts - @sflanker @RikHar - if you find a solution anytime later send me a tag, and i will do the same...i have been trying to find a way to get around it also, but not much progress yet

So, I've played around with your rover a bit, and I've come to the conclusion that the built in autopilot logic may just not work well for wheel based vehicles. The thing is the plane auto pilot is designed to bank (roll) in the direction of the desired heading, and then use pitch to change current heading to approach the target, and then return to level once the craft arrives at it's target. As it is you are basically ignoring the pitch component, which I think makes things prone to oscillation. It might be possible to use Vizzy to combine roll and pitch into a single input to the wheels such that the autopilot does the job, I'm not sure. You can improve the situation by cranking down the Proportional and Derivative autopilot settings to very low levels.

@TestRunner Sorry. Here's a link to the craft. It seems to me every time I lock the heading to either prograde or current heading the steering turns back and forth.
