I plopped a Droonaunt onto his rover and successfully flew him to Mars. The craft crashed while landing but to my surprise the rover was ejected (along with the stowaway) and started rolling down a hill. Unbelievably, the only damage was to the rover's drill. It was torn off during it's tumbling.

The image of your Altair about to splash down was grabbed while playing on Mac. I have my water physics turned to low or off on my iPad unless I have to set it higher for water launches, like the Sea Dragon.
My Mac on the other hand can run on High quality... Mostly. Some stuff I turn to medium to help the frame rate.

Oh, I don’t expect things to work correctly... I’m just goofing around. I like to take “photos” or screen recordings of my goofing off...Like piling 6 Droonauts on top of the “Simple Hopper 2.0”, fly it near a couple auto-turrets, sit back and watch the mayhem.
Interestingly enough, I’ve learned more about Building crafts and Vizzy while having fun. I‘ve always sucked at programming of any sort... but doing some of these goofy things And messing around with the vizzy code... vizzy is actually beginning to make sense. Emphasis on “beginning.
Maybe one day I’ll actually be able to build a original craft from scratch.

Glad you liked the pics. I have a lot of fun composing interesting or dare I say even Sometimes artistic “photographs” in the SR2 world.
Ive always thought more along the lines of a "dune buggy" (get it?) :D
You know.. cuz of the dunes on Mars/Cylero... Get going fast enough, hit a nice-size dune and watch it FLY. ;)
Use it on the moon/Luna and it's hard to keep from tumbling in the sky...
