Threading That Needle

Holy. Crap.

How I was able to make this happen, I don't know. Two Kell Aerospace cargo boosters landing on the same LP without hitting each other and exploding is rare, for me at least. I was blown away (pun intended) that neither booster blew up when they bumped the Altair capsule right before engine shutdown.

The Altair landed first, right in the center of LP One.

Then I launched the Kell cargo rocket... it's booster bumped up against the Altair before settling down.

After a couple screenshots I launched another Kell cargo booster (in a different color pattern) to watch it blow everything up while landing. To my great surprise it was almost a mirrored duplicate of the first landing... It bumped up against the opposite side of the capsule and then settled down. All without blowing anything up. All on the first attempt.

The needle has been threaded...

This Droonaut survived having not one booster land next to his capsule, but two.

I'd like to think that the incredibly lucky Droonaut immediately resigned from flying and used his savings to open up his very own Ace Hardware store.

...of course I'm about to try landing even more stuff to see what lands and what goes boom.
