Hello!

I recently got back to work on a system I've been making and it seems to be broken. When I looked deeper I noticed that some of my planets were just not able to load. I tried re-downloading them since I have them uploaded, however when I do I get an in-game popup saying that SimplexFractal is not supported.

I had this problem in particular trying to load Glace, could it just be the fractal that's the problem? And if so, would it be possible to bring back SimplexFractal in the next update/patch?

Thanks for reading!

That’s no problem, thanks for the comment because now I can fix it! @NathanMikeska

I don't think SimplexFractal actually did anything before. At least it shouldn't have been returning any simplex noise. That was removed before we ever launched because of potential patent issues. We recently removed the enumerations for the Simplex noise, so that may be why you are seeing different behavior now. I'd recommend updating the celestial body and perhaps using perlin fractal instead. Sorry...
