I have been trying to design a jet engine-powered VTOL craft for use in the game. So I tried making a concept craft but I have failed to perform a vertical takeoff as the craft tilts over. So I tried downloading other players' VTOL crafts and have tried flying them. The one that actually took off without a hitch was a craft with Vizzy script for auto takeoff. I tried manually doing a vertical takeoff with the same craft and the same effect happened, an abtupt tilt over and crash. Just wanted to ask how best to perform a vertical takeoff manually.

@Tweedle_Aerospace So it's not enough to have the engines just be attached at the point about the center but there's need for them to be slightly angled towards as well?.

Thank you @Tweedle_Aerospace and @Qarabinaka, valuable inputs they are, will surely try both

You need to have the centre of thrust at takeoff balanced with the centre of mass. I have experimented a bit with it, but I have not done much with VTOL

Make sure that the engines are facing towards the centre of mass
