Inability to select parts in Camera view or Droonaut first person view

I recently realised that now I'm unable to select a part to bring up part properties table in game, whilst viewing through the Camera part or through the Droonaut first person view. Just wanted to ask if this is happening in other people's games.

I'm concerned since Camera parts offer instant views to at times very difficult areas to access on a craft a d you may want to use part properties for activation or for transfer of fuel.

Just want to also know if it's a bug or something so that a report can be submitted.

EDIT: Realised from playing around with this that part selection in both is possible when I have paused the game. However, I believe real time selection as would happen before updates still would quite be handy.
