So, two part question here. Firstly, does anyone have a link or links to a guide on how to use Vizzy? I feel like this would be a better way to make rockets work with complicated steps, especially if I plan to do things like assembling orbital stations or docking spacecraft together in orbit.

Secondly, are there any easier ways to get two spacecraft to rendezvous in orbit? I’ve tried manual burns and using the auto burn calculator, but I just can’t seem to get anything close enough together to have a chance at docking. Is there a way, programming or otherwise, to get a craft to get in close, and then do a burn to match speeds and be stationary relative to the other craft? I’d love to have something that, for example, once I calculate a burn to get it close, it offers an option to merge orbits and sync up like merging fleets in Children of a Dead Earth. Can anyone help me out with these?

No problem. Orbital rendezvous is not the easiest thing to do.

@QarabinaKa Thanks, I’ll try that then!

I have a method which I find easy to use for rendezvous. Set up a rendezvous as close as you can. Then as you get to your nearest point, burn target velocity retrograde until your relative velocity is zero. Then lock target and burn towards it for a bit. Then lock target retrograde again, and as you reach your new nearest point, burn again to set your velocity to zero. Just repeat the process, and it should get you there. This method is neither the most fuel efficient or the most time saving, but it helps to get started on rendezvous. I have got this to work with intercepts 200km apart. As long as you have enough delta-v it will work.
