So I think Simple rockets 2 should have Ion engines and xenon gas for interplanetary exploration for probes and such.
The details for it would be that Ion engines are very fuel efficient but use up lots of power so you will need battery's and solar panels on your craft and xenon gas which can be a new fuel source and will be a small tank with maybe 400 units of xenon in them.
Xenon engines would be very small and could be used for probe or rover or normal crafts. This is my first big post so please don't hate also I don't know if this has been suggested.

Andrew already said he was adding this. Xenon is already an option for fuselage fuel. Click Here Scroll to the bottom and look at Fuel Types.

I actually asked about this, but AndrewGarrison said that there would be no sci- fi engines. Sad
