Oceanus system V3

  • Changelog(1):
    added 3 planets
    Crius a hot jupiter
    Kryos a massive ice giant
    Chione a mega neptune

Tweaked planet scale to better match the game

  • Changelog(2):
    added more moons to each planet (about 3 per planet)
    added a comet
    added a dwarf planet btween Oceanus and Kryos

The Oceanus system is a captivating extrasolar system featuring a diverse array of celestial bodies. It consists of four planets and is structured as follows:

Crius: The innermost planet in the system, Crius, is a scorching "hot Jupiter" that orbits very close to its star. Its extreme proximity to the star results in searing temperatures and intense radiation.

Oceanus: This gas and ice giant is the second planet and is noteworthy for hosting an Earth-like moon with a human colony, offering a unique opportunity for interstellar habitation.

Kryos: As another gas and ice giant, Kryos occupies a middle position in the system. It features dynamic weather patterns and distinct atmospheric phenomena typical of ice giants.

Chione: The outermost planet, Chione, is a mini-Neptune type planet with faint rings and a few barren moons. Its size and composition set it apart from the larger gas giants in the system.

These planets, each with its own unique characteristics, contribute to the system's overall diversity. Additionally, the presence of an Earth-like moon, faint rings, and moons within the Oceanus system make it a compelling target for astronomical research and the search for extraterrestrial life.

    By far, this is one of the best glow-ups I have seen for a small system! Keep up the fabulous work @Junkthunder!

    @KatosTohbi yup. It will be around Kryos, but Oceanus and Chione still need some minor moons.

    @Junkthunder I feel like Aerovale would truly complete it, especially considering her description places her in orbit around Kyros..

    @tereretempus i could try but that whould require a complete redesign of all the rocky planets.
