    An Beta Heavy side booster that will support the demonstration mission this summer completed its first static fire test at iSpace’s South Coast Vehicle Development Facility.

    Can Beta Heavy send my rover to Mars?

    You just need to make a capsule, and fly it on your Beta Heavy, if you can!

    @Doglover232YT We'll land the center booster on droneship on the coming equatorial orbit mission, such as Rideshare, interplanetary mission.

    @Doglover232YT
    Beta Heavy Demo is a mid orbit inclination mission. The default droneship is located on the equator, so Beta heavy won't fly over the droneship on this mission.

    To get back to the landing zone, a booster stage would need to kill it's eastward lateral velocity and then do a westward burn. This extra deltaV boostback expense inflicts a penalty on payload mass. In order to save fuel, Beta heavy will fly at a higher angle of attack.

    @iSpace So, We won’t be seeing a droneship landing of center core? Are there any drawbacks not having the core land on a droneship? Also, what stage of development are you in with Beta Heavy right now?
