At the end of 2004, the Russian Energy Rocket Space Company (RKK) disclosed a detailed plan for the next generation of reusable spacecraft kliper. This is the first new manned spacecraft that Russia intends to build since the blizzard (similar to the US space shuttle). The blizzard was cancelled due to the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1992.
The Clippers are equivalent in use to the successors of the US space shuttle. In 2008, the Clipper spacecraft project was cancelled and the replacement plan was PPTS.
