SimplePioneer
My Goal:
It may be too much to ask, but this craft was designed as a simple, straightforward rocket that could be used as a default craft. I understand that the other defaults were not intentionally built for implementation into the stock game, but I decided to give this a shot.
Inspiration:
Inspiration for this rocket came, quite clearly, from the Mercury Redstone vehicle. Designed in the 1950’s as a ballistic missile, it was adapted by the United States’ National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for use as a suborbital launch vehicle.
About the SimplePioneer/Mercury Redstone:
• Uses a single stage powered by a Rocketdyne A-7 Motor
• Has an abort system that can be triggered while in the atmosphere
• A Capsule with seating for one astronaut/droonaut (The SimplePioneer doesn’t have one onboard)
• The Mercury Redstone flew 7 missions, two of which carried Astronauts (Alan Shepard and Gus Grissom)
Why it’s called the SimplePioneer:
After thinking about the original rocket and researching NASA at the time, the word pioneer immediately came to mind. After all, the astronauts, engineers, and directors were venturing deep into uncharted territory, all while under huge pressure from the government to beat the Soviets.
Usage:
There is no RCS system, but the gyros in the capsule will maintain attitude during reentry and landing.
AG1: Abort - Triggers the LES (Launch Escape System) and detaches the capsule from the booster (See second picture)
AG2: Release LES Tower - as the name says, detach the tower from the capsule
AG3: Parachute - Manually deploy the parachute
Staging Order:####?1 - Rocketdyne A-7 Rocket Engine
2 - Release the Launch Escape Tower (The SRM will ignite to pull the tower away from the capsule. DO NOT ACTIVATE UNTIL THE ROCKET HAS RUN OUT OF FUEL)
3 - Capsule Separation - Releases the capsule from the booster
4 - Parachute Deployment
Mission Profile:
- Engine ignites, booster accelerates upwards
- Initiated at 1000m AGL, a gradual turn is made to a pitch angle of 45º
- The rocket maintains that attitude until its fuel is depleted
- LES Separation
- Capsule Separation
- Capsule cruises above the Kármán line, earning the pilot astronaut wings
- Capsule reorients to a retrograde attitude for reentry
- At 5000m, the parachute deploys
- Splashdown
- Recovery of the Capsule and Crew

@MobilOyuncu21 Let’s keep the language to a minimum here. Go into settings, access the quality tab, (Middle button at the top) and hit terrain. Turn it to HIGH

@MobilOyuncu21 The moon apears flat in mape view same with mars i landed on mars yesterday (for the first time!!!!) and the terrain was rocky witch makes landing at a location harder cause u don't know the terrain

I started to hate the game because the game was so crap, I say it is so open with this update, there is no crater and mountain on the moon and the moon is flat, there are no tracks in the game, there are parachute and many more bugs in the game and the game is dark I am cold from this game I think it is like [crap]

@MobilOyuncu21 hmm... if you set terrain quality to high... then you probably got a bug...

@MobilOyuncu21 set your terrain quality settings to high
Its required for now -
I'm playing with beta in andro, but for some reason there are no runways, there are some things. For example, meteorites and asteroids, part of the planet shines on its own.
@MobilOyuncu21 not sure. Maybe email the dev team and ask?
