Replica of the ATACMS tactical ballistic missile, with a fully functioning vizzy guidance and control script.

Select a target in the map and then press AG 1 to launch. Note: missile may appear to miss a target, but only because of issues with hit detection at high speed.

Uses Zero-effort-miss true proportional navigation (ZEMtpn) as it's terminal guidance law and a derivation of the hit equation for it's boost guidance, with a three loop acceleration autopilot for control. The guidance law calculates the acceleration command required to hit the target, while the autopilot makes the missile meet this command.

Reuploaded because previous version had incorrect autopilot gain values causing jitter.

WILL NOT LOCK LAUNCH PADS, ONLY CRAFTS

    nice job.
Has anyone else been able to build a precision-guided ballistic missile?

@ao1231231234 you should just be able to change some of the constants in the vizzy program to get that working

@IndoCorp Hey man yeah I noticed that too, you can avoid it by going to normal speed while it's still in midcourse so it'll adjust it's attitude.

The craft experienced a loss of control after the midcourse phase, the missile's movement was uncontrolled as it entered the atmosphere

@EhsanA yeah, I saw that as well. Idk why, but it'll refuse to target launch pads and things

@EhsanA huh, I'm not getting that. Is it doing this in the boost phase or terminal? Maybe this has something to do with framerate, if I limit mine to 48fps the missile will jitter on 3x speed.
