Thought process:
While researching the International Space Station, I realized that the construction of the ISS was far more expensive and complicated than it should have been. I figured that it would be simpler just to launch the whole station in one go, but google claims that it’s impossible to send a whole space station in one go. So that’s exactly what I present to you here. This is a reusable SSTO that can launch a whole space station into orbit. It’s payload is a nice looking space station that consists of four separate sections and two other satellites.
Instructions:
Launch the sucker.
Get to your preferred orbit.
Open the fairings, and connect that station like a LEGO set.
You would need to dock the outer sections to the inner section.
For the two identical sections, the cockpits are inverted(i would fix it, but I’m lazy), so you would need to press the anti-target button in order to actually dock them. The other outer section is normal.
Once your space station is complete, you can separate it from the SSTO.
You can either leave the SSTO in space or attempt to land it back on some hard ground.
Limitations
Based on my attempts, the rocket itself cannot reach Cylero without running out of fuel or crashing into it; but it can orbit and land on Luna.
The odds of a successful landing are against you, so I suggest saving before landing if you’re that committed to landing crafts in one piece.
I also suggest a save before assembling the station if you fail to put the pieces together (unless you’re into that kind of stuff).
Good luck!
