@Liftey yea I know I can save it as a sub assembly but if I try adjusting the size in the tinker panel it reverts back to the original height diameter ratio. I'll just settle for the saved engine for now.

@SR2isthename Tbh I actually forgot how I did that, I'm really sorry. If you download my craft and drag the engine to the top left you can save the engine for your builds though. You are able to make it bigger or smaller and should work for you. In the mean time I'll try and figure out how I did it.

@Liftey aw c'mon man don't make me beg you for it. With that kind of control I could do so many things. I'm not much for getting too crazy with the tinker panel as I like the challenge. But an engine that can be made wider than it is tall could open up so many possibilities.

@SR2isthename Glad you liked the plane! If you want you can always save those engines as sub assemblies, also good eye spotting the invisible cargo bays.

@Liftey I was trying to avoid using a gyro but after flying yours I'm over that bit of pretentiousness. What Im really stumped on is how you got the engines to be so short and wide? I had a lot of trouble fitting enough thrust without being too weird and it still wound up being too tall. I'ma keep looking at your techniques, like I really like turning the primary color on cargo bags to transparent to make it go all the way through. I just wanted to pose that question while it was still on my mind.

Hey have you tried my yak 141 vtol? It controls good and pretty simple to use and looks like based on the description it looks like you are looking for an example.
