Alitalia (Italy) livery.
My first livery build for the 747-200 version, honoring the now defunct Alitalia of Italy. Alitalia was the proud legacy flag carrier if Italy. Alitalia reached its peak in the so called "golden age of air travel" during the 1970s to early 80s when it ranked among the most prestigious airlines in Europe and the world. It had the honor of flying the Pope for his pastoral visits abroad. However, it also became notorious for it's inefficiency and low profitability, which led to it's quiet decline and "fall from the limelight". A government owned airline in it's inception, alitalia was privatized for most of its history, but financial struggles on recent years eventually forced the Italian government to take over the airline again in 2020. The Italian government got fed up with the issues in Alitalia and the airline was closed down in 2021 and was reorganized to a new name, now called ITA Airways.

@MeLoveAviation happy new year to you. Well I'm having problems with sourcing the mcdonnel Douglas font for the fuselage logo of it. That's why I haven't done it yet.
