i wanted this one to work out the most. i love this little guy. COM is off, cant fly and im really confused about space planes in this game. this was my second attempt. can i get feed back about this?
The deal with this one its a rock, and i think the COM is off but i cant pick up where the issue is. im about to give up on space planes. SP was so much easier with planes, but damn this game is good and ill never look back.
I know it way to over weight.

@Spacecoast321 I know it has been a while. But maybe it will work better now with the new update. I can’t test it on iOS yet. But you might want to try.

@Planefun not at all i managed to get a similar space plane working working you just need to start from scratch i think but that design is good

So is it a lost cause? Do I need to start over lmfao again? @MarioG

@JohnnyBoythePilot oh man I understand about trial and errors. Yeah the weight will be taken off tonight when I get home from work. Yeah, I have another one that’s an unlisted this that flys much better it’s a little larger. I haven’t made up my mind on rocket or fly under own power, I’m leaning on runway takeoff.

Yea space planes are pretty tough. I thought they would be easy to make in SR2 than rockets, but boy was I dead wrong. I have a rocket space plane in development and I've already made 12 updated versions with each update getting just a little closer to design perfection (you can see a preview of my rocket plane on my profile page). If your rocket plane is going to take-off from the ground or fly under it's own power without a booster rocket, your gonna have to make it longer and lighter. If you plan on having it be reusable and return to Earth, it's CG in flight will be a lot different than on take off since it will be empty of fuel, so you have to find a good balance in length, fuselage size/width, and weight of the craft so it's stable when climbing to space fully loaded and stable when it descends back to Earth completely empty. Space planes require a LOT more trial and error to perfect the design.

@Planefun simplerockets 2 has a different method for physics than sp.(?) Maybe it calculates even more realistic?
