(USM) R-1 Prometeusz

The R-1 Prometeusz (Prometheus) is USM’s first orbit capable rocket, and second (third?) most closely-guarded Black-Project. The R-1 is rated for 75 tons, but has been shown to make due with just over 76. Although highly classified and not even officially recognized (publically, that is), it will make headway into scientific exploration, and military expansion. The R-1 is designed to be easy to construct and maintain, requiring only a singular propellant fuel type across all stages, LH2/LOX, which can be synthesized at sea, where it can also conveniently be launched from. Both stages are recoverable and even almost fully automated, although orbital maneuvering and reentry of the upper stage must be conducted manually. No “universally recommended” monopropellant RCS system for the R-1 is in place, but most engineers suggest H202, as it is theoretically also easy to acquire on-site.
