More of a side project i wanted to release to the public, it is an experimental sattelite for interplanetary traveling
I do believe this is the first solar sail spacecraft on the site
Edit: oh forgot, I do believe I used some engines from @McDuetchVan’s offworld mining stuff, (specifically the ones from the RTG) thanks to him :)
all AGs labeled as usual lol, exension/propulsion is controlled by vizzy for decent realism, note: has a higher chance to lag while retracted
this is actually based off real concepts/sats, i did my best to make it fairly close to the real concepts
The concept this craft reflects most (no pun intended lol) is a small sattelite with a large solar sail, that would use lasers to speed up to a good portion of the speed of light, to maybe visit nearby stars
This will not happen yet though due to lack of technology irl
