A cool idea I had using fuel transfer from one tank to another you can raise or lower the buoyancy.
when spawned in the craft is neutrally buoyant. transfer almost all the Xenon (used because of its high mass/vol) from black to white tanks to float and vice versa to sink. you can also change the pitch by this method as well.
