Long March 4C

The Long March 4C rocket is based on the Long March 4B, which has increased the secondary starting capability of three sub stage engines, significantly improving the rocket's carrying capacity. The Long March 4C spacecraft began development in March 1999 and was successfully launched for the first time at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center on April 27, 2006. It sent China's first remote sensing satellite into a predetermined orbit and achieved zero fault testing for the first rocket launch site. The Long March 4C rocket has the characteristics of high reliability and strong adaptability, and its comprehensive performance has reached the advanced level of similar third stage rockets in the world, making important contributions to China's modernization of national defense and national economic development
