Orel + Angara-A5P (RSS)

Russian reusable manned spacecraft for delivering people and cargo to LEO and beyond.

Developed primarily for the Russian Orbital Station (ROS), as the only manned spacecraft to visit the station.

Launched on Angara-A5P (crewed variant of Angara-A5M) from Vostochny cosmodrome.

The first unmanned flight is scheduled for 2028. In the same year, the ship's service module will be used as a tug to deliver the Node and Airlock modules to the ROS, before people visit the station.

As of July 2024, some testing of the capsules is done. First spacecrafts are under construction for planned full-scale ground testing in 2025 - 2026, followed by Flight Abort Test in 2027 and first orbital flights in 2028.

2022: Installation of equipment in one of the ship's habitable capsules (several have already been manufactured: for strength and dynamic tests, for helicopter parachute drop, for flight abort test, as well as for the first orbital flight)
