Advancing the Fleet: The HN-Class 7 Hunter

Building upon the success of the HN-Class 6 Yeager, the Hurbanian Navy sought to develop a successor that would incorporate enhanced stealth, increased firepower, and more sophisticated electronic warfare capabilities. Thus, the HN-Class 7 Hunter was born, featuring notable upgrades and improvements.

Key Enhancements:

  1. Enhanced Stealth:

    • Incorporation of advanced stealth technology to reduce radar cross-section.
    • Special coatings and angular hull design to minimize detection by enemy sensors.
  2. Increased Firepower:

    • Main Guns: Upgraded to include three main gun positions: two on the front and one on the back.
    • Gun Specifications: Each position equipped with twin 100mm large cannons, providing superior firepower and range.
  3. Improved Anti-Air Capabilities:

    • Anti-air guns upgraded to hold more ammunition, allowing for sustained defensive operations against aerial threats.
  4. Advanced Radar System:

    • Replacement of the original radar with the HNR-9191 Giraffe radar.
    • Radar Specifications: Taller structure providing a greater range of up to 3 miles, enhancing situational awareness and target tracking.

Design and Development Process

Initiation:
The Hurbanian Navy initiated the development of the HN-Class 7 Hunter in response to evolving maritime threats and the need for a more formidable and stealth-capable vessel.

Collaboration:
The project saw collaboration between leading Hurbanian naval engineers, defense contractors, and technological experts. Innovations in stealth technology and weapons systems were integrated into the design.

Testing and Refinement:
The HN-Class 7 underwent rigorous testing in various maritime environments. Feedback from these trials led to further refinements in hull design, weapon placement, and electronic warfare capabilities.

Role and Deployment

The HN-Class 7 Hunter is designed to fulfill multiple roles within the Hurbanian Navy, including:

  • Fleet Defense: Protecting larger vessels from aerial and surface threats.
  • Coastal Surveillance: Monitoring and securing Hurbania's coastal waters.
  • Strike Missions: Engaging enemy targets with its enhanced firepower.
  • Reconnaissance: Utilizing its advanced radar for intelligence gathering and threat assessment.

Conclusion

The transition from the HN-Class 6 Yeager to the HN-Class 7 Hunter represents the Hurbanian Navy's commitment to maintaining technological superiority and operational readiness. The Hunter, with its stealth features, powerful armament, and advanced radar system, stands as a testament to Hurbania's naval innovation and strategic foresight, ensuring the nation's maritime security for years to come.

Nice design, but try to add some ballast and work on weight distribution. It has a terrible roll when trying to turn, it just falls over on side. ;)
