Literally the first exploration visit to one of Juno's inner planets.
The probe is equipped with a small seismometer, primary communications system, a solar panel, a light (for taking pictures at night of sergeeaa) and a small experiment of collecting and analyzing soil samples.
The density of sergeaa's atmosphere was suspected so the probe was equipped with wing flaps to ensure a smooth free fall, thanks to the atmospheric density the device was able to land without crashing. Valuable atmospheric data was collected from this first landing.
The probe, (after getting rid of the parachute) is prepared to withstand the heat caused by atmospheric friction, some areas will look red, but it is not a major concern.
It is recommended to remove the fairing once the speed has been reduced to a minimum as it causes problems when descending. The probe can be dropped freely from 15 kilometers.
From the beginning, the rocket was prepared to make both probes (orbiter and Lander) able to orbit sergeaa.
It was similar in design to the venera program as it was literally the best way to send both devices to the inner planet.
When maneuvering, both probes ended up on a polar flyby trajectory, which helped the orbiter a bit, but didn't make things too easy for the lander. Since the best way to bring it closer to the equator had to be calculated, at the end, the probe reach up near the north pole since the upper atmospheric density of sergeaa was not known with too much precision.
It was really hard to get close to the right launch window to get to sergeaa with a very basic rocket and limited delta V.
Don't be scared if the lander's capsule tips out of nowhere, the entire fairing is prepared for high temperatures and speeds .
Slider 2 for solar panel rotation.
The collaboration of all subsidiary agencies is greatly appreciated.
Many photographs were taken but unfortunately not all of them fit.
