When launched from the Droo Space Center this will place a sattelite in a Droo synchronous orbit over the Droo Space Center.
To start the Vizzy launch program use activation group 1. This will:
- launch to a low orbit (approx 85km)
- open the solar panel to recharge the batteries. It is best to manually roll to a Droo-down position so the solar panels can get the most sunlight.
- once the batteries are charged the launcher will detach the the nearly empty stage and deorbit itself
Then switch to the sattellite and use activation group 2 to start the raise orbit program. This will:
- wait until the sattelite is at the correct longitude (122E)
- burn to raise the apoapsis
- wait for the apoapsis
- burn to circularise the orbit
N.B. when timewarping while waiting, try to ensure the time-warp is no higher than 25 when within 2-3 minutes of the next burn.
To make the orbit stationary (0 deg inclination and apoapsis=priapsis=8804km) you will need to make theorbit fine-tuning manually. Normal at descending node or anti-normal at ascending node to zero the inclination (I think that is the right way round). Radial or anti-radial half way between apoapsis and periapsis to get aopapsis or periapsis = 8804km. The maybe a tiny burn at apo- or peri-apsis to make the other 'apsis' exactly right.
