Changes:
• Engines have been optimized for the best thrust and fuel efficiency with 0 bypass which resulted in much faster accelaration and ensuring achieving Mach 3 with ease and adjusted inlet and engine position according to this change.
• Angled vertical stabilizers to improve aerodynamics.
• Added two more MFDs in the cockpit.
• Adjusted the autopilot PID
The primary goal of this jet is to reach and cruise at Mach 3 and it does that successfully. But because it was designed to cruise at such speed also meant that the manouverability is very poor. This jet won't do crazy manouvers just simple turns and rolls.
Other Stuff:
Now that I have spent my time with this simple craft, I have some things to tell you. First, using the flaps (slider 1) gives you way more control on how the craft moves specially on a sharp turn and landing and it works so well with the navball. Second, by using the flaps properly, you can fly at very low altitudes like terrain level altitudes with a speed nearing Mach 3 and I just think it's very fun and a challenging thing to do but crashing or drowning in water is quite frustrating when enjoying going so fast and the camera shake doesn't help either. Lastly, I'm going to tell you how to fly this boxy plane. This jet is primarily controled using the navsphere but you can use other things too like the flaps. While at the runway before takeoff, lock current heading at set the pitch to 9 degrees then turn on the engines. Once ready and set, full throttle and wait for liftoff and then once at a considerable distance from the ground, retract the landing gear and set your pitch to 6° if you want to cruise at Mach 3 but keep your altitude above 6000m and below 22000m to avoid problems with the cruise. If you're losing speed then I suggest lowering your pitch a bit till you gain speed again and it's a little tricky sometimes but should work out fine. A careful reminder also that this jet is very easy to stall so slow down before taking demanding manouvers. Also you can use the FPS view inside the cockpit to use the MFDs but that should be a basic stuff everyone knows. This may be the final MOD of the MK-I as I have my attention on other things now so thank you for the upvotes and downloads even though they're not that many they still mean to me that people are at least trying out very simple builds I make and it genuinely makes me excited and motivated to make more builds. Supersonic you go, bye.
