HORIZONTAL TAKEOFF VARIANT
Not much is know on this configuration coming from the 60s-70s out of McDonnell Douglas. This configuration was to be hypersonic cruise vehicle outfitted with two XLR-129 rocket motors and Marquardt scramjets. It was projected to reach speeds up to Mach 12.
This rendition is a single staged spaceplane capable of 50+ tons of cargo to low orbit. AGs are labeled, slider 1 for flaps. It features all moving control surfaces.
