The Embraer EMB-314 "Super Tucano" is a light attack and advanced training turboprop aircraft that incorporates the latest advances in avionics and armaments. Designed to meet the operational requirements of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) for a tactical attack aircraft, capable of operating in the Brazilian Amazon for the benefit of the Sipam / Sivam project, and as an initial trainer for fighter pilots.
The Super Tucano was developed in Brazil by Embraer and is in production on two assembly lines, in Brazil and in the United States. It is certified to the most current military standards by the United States Air Force (USAF).
