M-2 Starfox

The M-2 Starfox is a small hypersonic SSTO military transport vehicle capable of speeds exceeding Mach 5. The Starfox uses a combination of jet propulsion and Methalox fed engines. It can accommodate 7 total occupants, pilot included. It comes with a functional cockpit and more flight information panels.

The Starfox is capable of VTOL, using slider 1 to operate its VTOL rotators. It can reach space in a matter of seconds if flown straight upwards. It has RCS nozzles to maintain a stable attitude in orbit as well as two gyroscopes. The Starfox can sustain incredible speeds in atmospheric flight, yet stability becomes an issue above Mach 3.5, so it is best to temper the throttle and gain some altitude before attempting to reach orbit. It’s rear door and ramp are less functional than they are decorative, as there is no room within the craft for standing and therefore exit.
