Just activate the inter-stage when you be controling the re-entry module or the escape craft.
Warning: if the rotanting module stop working just use the slider 1 to re-activate the rotating module, and you can only control the escape craft with the rotating control blue and yellow.
I recommend to if you be up to 4.000 kmh, re-entry by 25 degrees and in a re-entry up to 3.000 kmh you can do the re-entry by 15 degrees, and i recommend to when be at cylero you release the landing module at a maximum altitude of 127 km.
