Hey Sam, well… idk, the Capsule & Service Module are ‘In Orbit’ upon separation, using only the main stage. The Service Module is meant for Orbit Rendezvous, Docking, & De-Orbit Burn, is that not Single Stage to Orbit? No Second Stage to Achieve Eccentricity. -
