    • Medical Bay: Basic medical facilities for health monitoring and emergency treatment.

    • Environmental Control: Life support systems to regulate temperature, humidity, and atmospheric composition.

2. Solar Panels

  • Function: Provide primary electrical power to the spacecraft.
  • Features:

    • Deployable Arrays: Large, high-efficiency solar panels that deploy once in space.

    • Orientation Mechanism: Automated system to keep panels facing the Sun for optimal power generation.

    • Battery Storage: High-capacity batteries to store energy for use during periods of low solar exposure.

3. Nuclear Hydrogen Engines

  • Function: Provide propulsion for interplanetary travel.
  • Features:

    • Nuclear Thermal Propulsion: Uses nuclear reactors to heat hydrogen propellant, providing high-efficiency thrust.

    • Engine Configuration: Multiple engines for redundancy and maneuverability.

    • Radiation Shielding: Protective barriers to shield crew from reactor radiation.

    • Propellant Tanks: Large storage tanks for liquid hydrogen fuel.

4. Gamma Capsule

  • Function: High-radiation-resistant module for critical operations and emergencies.
  • Features:

    • Radiation Shielding: Enhanced shielding using advanced materials to protect against gamma radiation.

    • Control Center: Critical command and control functions centralized for use during solar storms or high-radiation events.

    • Emergency Shelter: Provides safe refuge for the crew during radiation spikes.

    • Life Support: Independent systems to sustain crew in emergencies, including oxygen supply and CO2 scrubbers.

5. Reaction Control System (RCS)

  • Function: Provides attitude control and fine maneuvering capabilities.
  • Features:

    • Thrusters: Small, strategically placed thrusters around the spacecraft.

    • Propellant: Typically uses hypergolic or cold gas propellant for quick and precise adjustments.

    • Control System: Integrated with the vehicle’s guidance and navigation systems for precise control during docking, landing, and other maneuvers.

6. Radiators

  • Function: Dissipate excess heat generated by onboard systems.
  • Features:

    • Deployable Radiators: Panels that extend from the spacecraft to increase surface area for heat dissipation.

    • Heat Pipes: Transport heat from the spacecraft’s interior to the radiators.

    • Thermal Control: Active and passive systems to manage thermal loads, ensuring optimal operating temperatures for all systems and crew comfort.

Overall Configuration

  • Integrated Structure: All modules and components are interconnected with a central truss system for structural integrity.
  • Docking Ports: Multiple docking ports for crew transfer, resupply missions, and attachment of landing modules.
  • Thermal Control System: Includes radiators and heat exchangers to manage thermal loads from both the sun and the nuclear engines.
  • Communications Array: High-gain antennas for deep-space communication with Earth and surface operations on Cylero.

I just recently returned to JNO @Junkthunder, so I too am a little rusty at planet making XD. I can say the same... school is hard, but at least weekends exist!

@Tallisar Maby in a few weeks or months. I don't really have much time to even play JNO much now, since I'm really busy with school since it's my final year and I'm going to do my exams. But I will start with planets eventually. I'd prob be really bad again tho 😅

@Zenithspeed It's inspired by the cancelled Mars !Constellation Program . I plan on making some More IPV's later with included landers and Hab segments. But I don't expect them to come out any time soon.
