Try it. Your correct and the ship is already heavily modded. It can, with both Luner and Main Ions motors engaged sustain a slow climb even with Droo gravity. If the challenge was to "Mod the Saucer to accomplish the mission I would have stated that" Its do able, give it a shot. Its not very hard, just a matter of power conservation.
