RK Aerospace has made a rocket for interplanetary missions, carrying cargo up to 5000 KG to beyond the earth. It is also designed for LEO on heavy payloads. It is a cheap rocket with a big goal. It was first tested in 2005. It failed after it reached outside the atmosphere due to problems with Stage 2. After some flaws were fixed, the 2nd test was successful. On the 3rd test in 2006, it made it to the moon, then crashed into it. It has never made an actual mission, but was introduced into the public in 2017.
