This is one of the oldest rockets I've designed, I am posting it now because I made an updated and more realistic version (FFSC Kerolox engines wouldn't work in real life because of the soot during combustion).
I also have multiple variants of a heavy version that I might post later.
It only needs around 5% of fuel to land the first stage although it may work with between 700 and 650m/s of delta-v left after stage separation.
The upper stage needs around 700-650m/s to land too, and the rocket can take around 30 metric tonnes to the moon as far as I remember, so missions to Mars and other planets would likely also have a similar payload capacity.
