Sweet build mate. BTW I ran into the same problem as you when I was building a door for my moon Habitat. You can just resize a hangar bay and it'll work fine😊

@Latiif88 no I’m not completely sure you could do that. Since the astronaut is technically a different craft when he isn’t in the seat, it would be like remote control without player control

@Patelsh24 thanks, mate. But I wish there is something to press/activated then open the door in astronaut mode, maybe like an open/close button 😁
